Second Sunday in Lent

Week 3
God be in my eyes, and in my looking
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! (1 John 3:1)

Look at photographs of children--yourself as a child, your own children or grandchildren, or pictures of children around the world. It has been said that God gazes upon us with the same open love with which we gaze into the eyes of our children. Today take a few minutes to look at your face in a mirror. Imagine that it is God who is looking at you, with infinite love. Feel yourself being looked upon as God's beloved child.
